Town Meeting to recognize Cancer Prevention Month 2005

The Cancer Society held its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 21st February 2006 in the new Cancer Caring Centre Headquarters. A new President, Terry Fountain and new Board Members were elected, delegates made presentations and several people were recognized for their contribution to the design and development of the Caring Centre.
September is Prostate Cancer Prevention Month.
Activities are as follows:
September 23rd- Prayer Breakfast @ Crystal Palace - Tickets on sale ($30.00)
September 30th - Cancer Society Walk - Stride for Life Walk
October is Breast Cancer Prevention Month
October 1st - 7th - Marathon Mall Breast Cancer Awareness Booths
October 6th. - National Denim Day
October 1st - 30th - sale of Cancer Awareness items e.g.
T-shirts, Pins, and bracelets.
Cancers Survivors profiles to be featured daily in the Tribune during the month of October - daily health tips by BAB.
