Cancer Society Activities for September and October 2006
British American Insurance Company is gearing up for Denim Day, an integral part of  Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities for October which were discussed on Love 97's Morning Show. The Cancer Society of the Bahamas held its Second Annual Fundraising Walk 'Stride For Life' on Saturday September 30 to start off Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities. "The Walk has quadrupled in number" said Chairperson Mrs Sherry Bastian, as we had 800 persons register this year. We are always very grateful for the public's support and look forward to next year's event."

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and British American Insurance Company has been leading the charge for the past nine years by sponsoring the Susan Komen's Lee Denim Day in the Bahamas.
